Professor Holly Case receives Humboldt Research Award

We are delighted to announce that Holly Case, Professor of History at Brown University, former fellow of the Imre Kertész Kolleg and current member of our academic advisory board, received the Humboldt Foundation’s Research Award in March 2021. The foundation grants this award to leading international researchers from abroad in recognition of their academic achievements. Holly Case received the award for, among other things, her ground-breaking study "The Age of Questions", published by Princeton UP in 2018. In her book, Holly Case documents and disaggregates patterns of political thought in European history, which are still in effect today.

On 09 June 2021, Holly Case will present the central findings of her book at the Zeitgeschichtliches Kolloquium at the Friedrich Schiller University’s History Department.

We very warmly congratulate her on receiving this well-deserved award.
