The team of the “Illiberal Constitutionalism” (VW Stiftung) project, Helsinki Foundation in Warsaw, and the Faculty of Sociology is proud to invite you to a debate on The Future of Illiberalism.
On May 14th, 2026, at 16:00, the discussants: Katarina Batkova, Matej Slavik, Anna Wojciuk, Edit Zgut-Przybylska, and the moderator: Marta Bucholc, will gather to discuss possible scenarios for the future of illiberal tendencies, especially in East Central Europe. The event will take place in room 107 in the Old University Library building.
From 18:30, we will hold a film screening of 80 Angry Journalists, a documentary on the freedom of press in Hungary, followed by a discussion. This will take place in Kino LAB in Ujazdowski Castle (Jazdów 2).
