The Imre Kertész Kolleg´s Annual Conferences

The annual conference of the Imre Kertész Kolleg Jena is the main event in the Kolleg´s calendar. Here established and aspiring scholars have the opportunity to present research areas of the Kolleg. The annual conference is a forum where the Imre Kertész Kolleg presents its work not only to scholars in the field but also to the non-academic public.
From 2012, the annual conference will be held in different Eastern European cities. Possible future venues include Prague, Warsaw, Budapest and Belgrade. In this way the results of research conducted at the Kolleg can be discussed in the context of the contemporary historiography of the respective cities.

In 2018 the annual conference takes place on 14 & 15 June, the topic is the "Revolution from Within. Experts, Managers and Technocrats in the Long Transformation of 1989" (preliminary title).
